This season's harvest is in: valley sidr, limited November batch.

Our Story

Kuwwara started with a few hives in Ajloun and a question we heard every day: "How do I know it's real?" We decided the answer should be on the jar itself.

Gloved hands holding a wax frame from the hive

We move our hives with the seasons: citrus in the northern valley in spring, up to the Ajloun and Salt mountains for wildflowers and thyme, then down to the southern valley for sidr in autumn.

We don't feed the bees sugar during the harvest season, and we never heat or blend our honey. Every batch is lab-tested before it reaches our shelf, and its number on the jar leads you to its certificate.

Our few imported honeys have a clear origin, come from one supplier we know, and every shipment is tested in Jordan.

Our hives follow the seasons

From the Ajloun mountains to the sands of Wadi Araba. Each stop has its own blossom and month, which is why every jar tastes different.

What we never compromise on

No sugar in season
We never feed our bees sugar during the harvest season, so the honey comes from blossom alone.
Never heated or blended
We jar honey as it leaves the frame, with no heat to kill its enzymes and no blending.
Every batch tested
No jar reaches the shelf before its batch passes moisture, sugar and HMF tests.
Origin stated plainly
Local or imported, it's on every product. Imports come from one supplier we know and are tested in Jordan.
